EMBA 720 Strategic Management: Societal & Industrial Impact
Professor: Jorge Riveras
This course introduces broad contextual considerations relevant to the formulation and successful implementation of organizational strategy. Beginning with macro environmental considerations and trends (explored via the PESTEL framework), students are subsequently exposed to key industry-level dynamics (via the Five Forces framework). Taken as a whole, the course provides an in-depth understanding of the challenges presented by a changing social and industrial context to the possibility of sustainable competitive advantage. We hope you'll stay for informal conversation with the current EMBA cohort at 5:30pm to learn about their unique experiences in the program!
