NESAD Alumni Panel @ Boston Design Week

People used to think of Interior design as an extra, if you could afford it.

No longer. The fate of our planet may well depend on how we humans interact with our environment and the spaces and places we create. Far from furnishing extras, designers today are literally in the hot seat, exploring solutions to the major challenges we face today.

Our Panel of Experts welcome your input:

· How to weigh the pros and cons of a design career

· How to practice the R words: recycle, refurbish, restore – can you think of more?

· How to design for health. How much toxic gas comes off upholstery anyway?

· How to design for everybody. Universal design doesn’t necessarily mean installing ugly grab bars in the bath…but what does it mean?

Following the Alumni Panel, there will be an opportunity to learn about the admission and application process for prospective Interior Architecture and Graphic Design students.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
